Breaking Up with Bill C5: Canada Uncommitted

  • Indigenous Climate Action PO Box 52167 Edmonton, Alberta Canada T6G 2T5 (map)

Join us for a deep-dive webinar on Bill C-5 and what it means for Indigenous communities, climate policy, and so-called Canada’s climate commitments heading into COP30.

This teach-in brings together Indigenous leaders and advocates to unpack how the government’s idea of “Building Canada” actually just maintains extractive, colonial systems – and redwashes the whole thing through structures like the “Indigenous Advisory Council.”

Through open discussions and critical reflections, we’ll explore how Bill C-5 connects to Canada’s climate commitments, both nationally and internationally in spaces like COP30.

Register now to be part of this important conversation about justice, sovereignty, and the future of climate action in so-called Canada.
