Today, as we honour Human Rights Day, we recognize that Indigenous rights are human rights. In this spirit, we are extending our Giving Tuesday campaign, grounding it in the time of the Winter Solstice, and deepening our commitment to uplifting Indigenous rights and sovereignty.

Indigenous Economics Conference
For the first time, Indigenous Climate Action is partnering with the Canadian Society for Ecological Economics to host a 3-day conference for Indigenous Economics: Reclaiming the Sacred. Taking place virtually from June 10-12, 2021, this conference will focus on 4 different themes of achieving a Just Transition to Indigenous-led, land-based, and ecologically-centred environmental action and economies.
